WHAT ARE CEREC® BENEFITS?
CEREC technology uses computer-generated images to craft high-quality dental restorations. The term “CEREC” stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. CEREC devices are used to create high-quality restorative devices following diagnosis and treatment.
Devices include crowns, inlays, veneers, and more. At our dental office in Arnold, MO, we utilize CEREC technology to create inlays and complete inlay restoration.
Using digital impressions, CEREC machines produce CEREC crowns, inlays, veneers, bridges, and other orthodontic appliances. Appliances are made using an in-office milling machine. Digital images are used to fabricate orthodontic appliances and dental restorations. This technology makes the production process pain-free, seamless, and fast.
CEREC allows dentists to construct same-day crowns, temporary crowns, and more without a long wait and a large number of appointments.
We strive to provide the best dental services currently available. CEREC technology plays a large role in this goal. How exactly does CEREC compare to other dental materials?
To illustrate how powerful CEREC’s computer-aided manufacturing is, we have provided a table below. The table outlines the many advantages of CEREC technology compared to other dental materials.
As the table shows, CEREC same-day treatments are an important part of same-day tooth restoration. Our dentist understands the challenges associated with dental restorations, and we value the superlative dental care CEREC technology offers our patients.
CAM (computer-aided design) allows us to diagnose and treat dental conditions quickly. With CAD/CAM (computer-aided design), we are able to improve our patients’ oral health in a single visit!
